“Photography is a love affair with life.”
— Burk Uzzle
Raised between cultures, I grew up with Asian traditions in London. This duality sparked a curiosity for my roots and a yearning to explore beyond borders. While immigrating to England in my teens offered a new world to explore and another dimension to my growing sense of identity, it also ignited a quest for exploring the other side and explorations of distant land left behind.
So, in my late 20s I traded my spreadsheets for memory cards - quit my accounting job embarked on a journey that led me back to India and then across the globe. It was both an act of rebellion and a search for self. This solo odyssey wasn't just about ticking places off a list or breaking free from the Asian stereotype; it was about finding myself.
This decision led me to incredible experiences: forging friendships with strangers, witnessing the world's beauty through a camera lens, and crafting a life that feels both fulfilling and authentic.

I learned to embrace my diverse background and let go of the need to be accepted at the same time. the question "Where are you actually from?" didn't faze me anymore. I realized I am from everywhere I have called home. My worldview shifted and perspectives got wider on the idea of home and belonging.
Each experience, from navigating new cultures in my teens to returning to India to understand my roots, has become a pivotal moment in shaping my identity.
From the corporate cubicle to the creative playground
Combined with my love for Art, Culture, and the Human mind I was destined to become a Photographer. Even as a schoolgirl, I was fascinated by the camera, looking for every opportunity to get my hands on one. For the past sixteen years, I've had the privilege of working with a diverse clientele, including film actors and renowned musicians. The recognition and opportunities to collaborate with some of the most incredible people have been tremendously rewarding. It has solidified my commitment to the highest professional ethics and standards.
My photographic style reflects my background and life experiences – Playing with symmetry - a unique blend of contemporary flair, cinematic moods, and a touch of vintage luxury. I create timeless photographs that artistically capture emotions and bring moments to life with a touch of glamour.
As a visual artist, I craft surreal wall art for interior designers and design album covers for musicians. Currently, I'm working on a series that explores my journey: home, belonging, and the ever-present call of adventure.
Beyond the lens, Comedy and music are my jam, with a special love for sketch comedy and a broad taste in music I have always found an instant connection with comedians and musicians alike.

Nature is my haven. The symphony of animal calls, the rustle of leaves, the moonlight dancing on water – these are the moments that truly replenish me. A walk in the woods is as essential as my morning cup of tea. Rain or shine, I find beauty in the ever-changing world around me. Pressed flowers as bookmarks, hours spent watching sunsets, listening to birdsong, and gazing at constellations – these are the simple joys that fill my spirit.
Besides Art affairs, I am usually catching up on news and updates on scientific advancements including ai and space exploration as well as on archeological and natural world, climate change, astronomy, biology, physics, paleontology, world politics, genetic studies and history of evolution are all subjects of my interest.
Since moving to Canada in 2014, I have adapted to a minimalist lifestyle allowing me to prioritize freedom over possessions. Volunteering for animal rescue and wildlife conservation have been some of the most profound experiences of my life while solo traveling with my cat across the world is the most cherished.

I believe in the interconnectedness of all living things, the delicate balance of our ecosystem, and our shared responsibility to protect it for generations to come.
WHY I DO WHAT I DO
As an artist, I believe that photography has the
power to transcend through languages, time, and place.
It's a magical kind of art that allows us to preserve time and moments and describe the world the way we see it.
Between the moments of the camera's shutter closing and lifting my finger from the button, Time freezes for a fraction of a second - in that moment I am one with everything around me in a meditative sense.

Here to capture the essence of life through my lens. Every project is an opportunity to tell a unique story, freeze moments, and make memories.
Let's embark on this creative voyage together and craft a visual narrative that truly reflects who you are.
